Did you know that nominations are now open for The Pharmacy Guild of Australia/GuildSuper Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award?

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia and GuildSuper have started their nation-wide search to find Australia’s best pharmacy assistant and they need your help to find them.

Nominating an amazing pharmacy assistant gives them a healthy dose of recognition which, in turn, can boost their self-confidence and motivate them to even greater things!

But, you don’t have to wait for someone to nominate you! If you think you have the skills, knowledge and passion to be the 2015 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year you can nominate yourself!

The 2014 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year, Dimity Doddridge encourages all pharmacy assistants to get involved saying, “give it a go and never give up! I was first nominated in 2010 and again in 2011 and both times I made it to the State Workshop Day. I learnt so much through the process which allowed me to develop in my career. It wasn’t until 2014 that I felt I had reached my goal, then I was nominated and here I am!

It is such a positive and rewarding experience in so many ways! The people I’ve met, the relationships I’ve created, the skills I’ve learnt, the self-confidence I have gained and the opportunities that have arisen and hopefully continue to arise make it all so worthwhile!”

If you are or you know a pharmacy superstar, nominate today! All you have to do is click here and follow the prompts.

Have you been nominated?

Not sure if you you’ve got what it takes to be the 2015 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year?

We think you do and below is at least one reason why you should take the next step and respond!

“I found the whole award experience very exciting, motivating, challenging and rewarding. Right from responding to the nomination to the NSW State Workshop day, to then being selected as the NSW finalist. Going to the Gold Coast was the absolute highlight. It was exciting, informative and most of all a fantastic opportunity to meet such a wonderful group of finalists that were so like-minded and ambitious. Overall I would thoroughly recommend and encourage any pharmacy assistant who is motivated and passionate about the industry to definitely get involved. There is absolutely no down side to it. Even replying to the nomination is an experience in its self. I have since spoken to many other pharmacy assistants about it and have recommended they give it a go this year.”
